WHO:
- Anyone 18+ aspiring to be a competitive soccer coach with LAGSD but lacking experience
- Must have prior soccer playing experience
WHAT:
- A season long mentor program aimed at learning the LAGSD environment and developing coaching skills
DETAILS UPON ACCEPTANCE:
- Participant is assistant coach on a competitive team for the season in a volunteer capacity
- Assists head coach with coaching duties as needed
- Club provides full coaching uniform
- Club provides access to attend all coach education opportunities (both in house and at StubHub Center with LA Galaxy)
- Participant commits to a personal development plan (outlines their goals and their action plan to reach them)
- Regular meetings with mentor throughout the season to monitor progress
