Our City SC Board of Directors (pictured above) is a volunteer based board. Board members are City SC parents who lend their professional expertise and knowledge to make important decisions impacting our club ranging from financial decisions to planning club events but, ultimately, the function of the Board of Directors is to ensure that our club is always moving in the right direction. DIRECTORS of RECREATION
The City SC Recreational Program is the foundation of our club, serving over 2500 recreational players within Carlsbad & the North County area. With an entirely volunteer based coaching staff, the job of the Director of Recreation is to not only ensure that our recreational coaches are licensed and fully equipped to teach the game but that the program, as a whole, runs smoothly. City SC aims to offer a recreational program where players have the opportunity to grow while having fun and building a love of the game, as well as providing unlimited growth opportunities for players of all skill levels and potentially acting as a stepping stone into the competitive program.

HEADS of PLAYER DEVELOPMENT (HOPDs)
Individual player development is the foundation upon which our teams and the club are built. City SC has implemented age specific HOPDs who report directly to the Directors of Coaching and are charged with helping facilitate the individual player development process. HOPDs act as sub-directors for their assigned age groups and serve as a liaison and resource between directors of coaching, coaches, staff, parents and players. COLLEGE LIAISONS
City SC is proud to provide a comprehensive college preparation program. With two full time college liaisons, we strive to educate players about the recruitment process and assist each individual with identifying soccer programs and universities that will be a good fit for their future. High school aged players gain access to recruiting tools, resources, and guidance, and prepare them for the demands of college on the field and in the classroom.
