Thank you for considering City SC Carlsbad for your child’s Fall soccer season. We take great pride in providing our community with the best soccer experience and look to provide our participants with a well organized program. We are excited to welcome you to what will surely be an amazing Fall 2024 Soccer Season!
Our recreation program is for everyone! We have teams from ages 3-18 and all levels are welcome!

For your convenience, we have two location-based registration options:
- NORTH CARLSBAD will play and practice on fields North of Palomar Airport Road including but not limited to: Zone 5, Magnolia, Chase, Hope, Calavera Hills, Jefferson, Valley, Buena Vista
- SOUTH CARLSBAD will play and practice on fields South of Palomar Airport Road including but not limited to: Zone 5 La Costa Heights, La Costa Meadows, Alga Norte, Aviara Park, Poinsettia Park, Stagecoach Park, El Camino Creek, Mission Estancia

- March 4–March 15 (Early Bird): U5 & U7 = $215 | U8-U19 = $260
- March 16–May 31: U5 & U7 = $230 | U8-U19 = $275
- June 1–July 7 (**Last Chance Registration): U5 & U7 = $230 | U8-U19 = $300

Age Brackets/FormatUnder 5: U5 players (born in 2020) play 4v4
Under 7: U6/U7 players (2019/2018) play 4v4
Under 8: U8 players (born in 2017) play 7v7
Under 10: U9/U10 players (born in 2016 & 2015) play 7v7
Under 12: U11/U12 players (born in 2014 & 2013) play 9v9
Under 14: U13/U14 players (born in 2012 & 2011) play 11v11
Under 16: U15/U16 players (born in 2010 & 2009) play 11v11 ***
Under 19: U17/U18/U19 players (born in 2008, 2007 & 2006) play 11v11***
***Our U16 and U19 Teams are placed in the SoCal Super Rec league. Game scheduling is done by SoCal and games can be played on either Saturday or Sundays during the season.
Our Fall Recreational Registration includes:
- Home and away City SC Carlsbad uniforms
- Personalized trophy (U12 and below ONLY)
- Picture package
- Certified USSF referees for age groups U8 and up
- Field set up and take down
- Cal South trained and licensed volunteer coaches
Registration details:
- All registration is online via our link (WILL BE HERE)
- Registration will close on July 7, 2024. A $20 late fee will be assessed on all registrations after July 7, 2024, and players will be placed onto the waitlist
- The season will go from August 12 through to November 10, 2024
- We will do our best to honor one buddy request but it MUST be reciprocated and you MUST be in the same division, if received prior to the close of registration on July 7, 2024 – requests must be made at the time of registration and must be entered into the appropriate field during the registration process (we will NOT accept requests via email)

VOLUNTEER HEAD or ASSISTANT COACHES NEEDEDAll of our volunteer coaches are given training and tools to help them be successful. If you are interested in becoming a coach, please CLICK HERE.
Play Up An Age Group Request Form: if you want your child to be considered to play up an age group, please fill out our request form by CLICKING HERE. Not all requests are guaranteed.

Refunds are only given for the following reasons after registration closes:
- Injuries – The injury must occur before the first game of the season and prevent the player from participating for the majority of the season. Parents must provide a medical note from doctors as proof
- No placement – If we cannot place your child due to a lack of coaches then we will provide a full refund
