City SC hosted our recreational coaches, team managers and staff for our annual Appreciation Night at Tommy V’s Urban Kitchen in Carlsbad on Monday, November 14. As a 501c3 our club relies heavily on volunteer support and Appreciation Night is a tribute to the many people in our club and our community who volunteer their time to support our staff in our mission to ignite a lifelong passion for soccer in every player.
“As our club continues to grow, volunteers play an increasingly important role in helping us run our programs, events, and provide the most positive soccer experience possible for our players,” said City SC Club Manager, Natalie Eckerlin. “Appreciation Night is always a great opportunity for us to say thanks to those volunteers such as board members, recreational coaches and competitive team managers who put in a lot of hours over the course of the season to support our kids and our staff. We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Tommy V’s for treating everyone to such a fun and festive evening!”
City SC President, Jim Barnhill, concluded, “Thank you again for the many contributions that our volunteers make to help our club fulfill our mission of inspiring a lifelong passion for soccer in every player! It takes a village and we are grateful to have so many amazing people in our community invested in providing a positive soccer experience for all of our players. It was wonderful to see so many of you at Appreciation Night at Tommy V’s! It’s been a fantastic season, and we enjoyed celebrating it with all of you. Thank you again for all that you do!”
