ver the past several years, as a club, we have been developing a relationship with the PFA (Palau Football Association) and have been donating soccer gear to the children of Palau. Our donations of Coastal Classic T-shirts and LAGSD stickers arrived recently and made local news in the ‘Ti Belau’ and ‘Island Times’ local newspapers (see picture of ‘Ti Belau’ article on right).
Palau Honorary Consul in San Diego, Julian Padilla, whose son’s play for LAGSD brought the donation over to the Palau Football Association.
After the arrival of the new LAGSD uniforms, the club will be emailing out details about a mass CUFC uniform collection in the hope that we can positively contribute to Palau again, as well as donating to other deserving and less fortunate areas.
