It has just been officially announced that LA Galaxy San Diego have been awarded a spot in the U.S. Soccer Development BU15 Academy program.
This is great news for our boys program and in particular for our current 2004 Boys Academy team as this will allow the team to continue playing in the Development Academy.
“I am extremely happy that our Boys Academy program has been awarded U15 for the upcoming 2018/19 season,” said LAGSD Director of Boys, Glenn Malone. “We started with the BU12 Academy program two years ago with our 2004 boys and every year we have managed to earn their placement into the next season’s Academy program. This is a testament to our coaching staff, players and families whose dedication to the Academy principles and philosophies has definitely helped with this allocation. Our excellent training and game facilities have also played a crucial role. It is exciting news for our boys program as a whole and will no doubt help us on our continual quest to provide our players with the best possible soccer education and experience!”
