On Saturday, March 8, 2020, the City SC older Boys DA & NPL teams participated in a club hosted College ID Camp at Aviara Community Park.
The players were split into groups and received an hour long session from a college coach, focusing on different aspects of the game. At the end of the session, in front of the attending panel of college coaches, the boys then showcased their talents in scrimmages.
“It was a fantastic day,” said City SC Boys College Liaison, Sean Gurley. “Not only did the players get a lot out of the individual sessions but the advice and pointers given out at the end of the day was priceless.”
Gurley continued, “These events are so great for our older boys that have aspirations to play in college. Our players showed a great attitude and application in each session and the coaches were very impressed with the direction our program is going.”
