Not only did five of our U14 boys make a SoCal select team that won the VW Junior National Championship but they also went on with ‘SoCal United’ to represent USA at the VW Junior World Masters in Rome, making it to the quarter finals, with our with very Cameron Williams being awarded ‘Player of the Tournament’.
Carlsbad United’s very own Jay Amin shared the coaching responsibilities for SoCal United and commented, “In terms of soccer, this experience was by far the best I have ever been to. You have to be there to fully grasp the magnitude and organization. To say I am proud of our boys and of what they achieved is an understatement. The icing on the cake is definitely Cameron receiving the Player of the Tournament. It really is something special and something as a club we should all be very proud of!”
