Rondi Pogue brought over a box of donated Carlsbad United FC jerseys to India recently. As you can see from the pictures, the girls in India were so excited and appreciative of them.
Rondi commented, “They normally play other teams in their street clothes but now they are able to play in style! These are the very first jerseys they have ever had and it was a big deal for them to receive these. They will cherish their jersey and wear it with pride. Thank you all for your generous donations!”
The club is planning a charity trip to Tijuana at the end of May and hope to bring more jerseys/uniforms down to less fortunate children. If you have any old CUFC jerseys or shorts (no socks) you would like to donate please drop them off at the LAGSD office (5315 Avenida Encinas, #200, Carlsbad 92008).
