ABOUT
Coach Craig was born and raised in South Wales, UK. After graduating from University in Swansea, where he played collegiately as a striker, he made his way to the United States to pursue his love for soccer in the coaching environment. Now with over 15 years coaching experience, he continues to pass on his knowledge and passion for the game to the next generation.
Coach Craig holds a USSF National A license.
COACHING PHILOSOPHY
“Working primarily with high school aged athletes, my coaching philosophy is centered around developing college-ready players who are confident, independent thinkers that aren’t afraid to step outside their comfort zone in order to succeed.
With focus on highly organized defensive structure and attacking creativity, I aim to allow the players freedom to express themselves without the fear of failure. It is important that we are developing autonomous, independent thinkers who aren’t afraid to make mistakes in order to solve problems.
By taking a holistic approach to coaching, I strive to give my players the tools to develop and pursue their goals while creating a safe, challenging, and enjoyable environment for them to learn.
The life lessons learned through soccer go far beyond the game itself. I aim to promote strong characteristics and values that the players will take with them into their adult life.”
