LA GALAXY SAN DIEGO ANNOUNCES BOYS & GIRLS U.S. SOCCER DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY PROGRAM
LA Galaxy San Diego (LAGSD) is excited to announce the club will be expanding their Academy program in the 2017-2018 season with the recent addition of the Boys U13 and U14 age groups. The expansion into the BU13 and BU14 age groups comes shortly after LAGSD’s girls program was accepted to the Girls’ Development Academy, which will launch this summer.
“We are delighted to have our boys academy status expanded to the U13 and U14 levels,” said LAGSD Boys Director of Coaching, Glenn Malone. “It’s a reflection of the outstanding job coaches Steve Cowell, Paul Ritchie and Louis Hunt have done with our current BU12 Academy program and our commitment to aligning our philosophy with the Academy.”
First accepted into the prestigious Academy program last year at the U12 Boys age group, LAGSD’s Academy program has grown exponentially in the past year.
