My name is Maria Gabriela Cordeiro, but everyone calls me Gabby. I am originally from Recife, Brazil. My journey in the US started in 2017, when I was invited to play for a college in New York, while pursuing my bachelor’s degree. I started playing soccer and futsal when I was only 5 years old and have never stopped.
I am passionate about soccer and grateful for the many opportunities it has given me throughout my life. Before I moved to the US, I had the opportunity to play professionally in Brazil, including for the Brazilian National team. I have always been involved with coaching and recreational programs as well, and now I am excited to officially start sharing my knowledge and skills to coach the new generation of athletes.
I am competitive, disciplined, and creative and my goal as a coach is to provide the kids a great environment to develop their skills, fuel their passion for soccer and have fun at the same time.
I am dedicated to my players and will do whatever I can to help them achieve their goals within the sport. I am looking forward to working with these young players and ready to help them improve each and every day.
