The City SC Open is one of City SC Carlsbad’s primary fundraising and social events, and this year’s event was a great success!
Held at The Links at Lakehouse in San Marcos on Monday, November 13, 2023, the City SC Open golf tournament was a scramble format with some quality golf on show.
A big congratulations to Chris Bangerter, Blair Smith and Andrew Inocelda for winning the tournament and congratulations to all the individuals who won the various competitions throughout the round/day.
After the final groups had finished, the golfers made their way to the evening events with a meal that was followed by the raffle and silent auction. Prizes from Wyndham Destinations, Taylor Made, Adidas Golf and San Diego Padres to name a few, ensured a plethora of quality product was making it’s way to the participants.
Not only was the event a success on the course but it also raised over $12K. These proceeds will go towards our financial aid and scholarship programs, which support our mission of giving every child the opportunity to play soccer. A massive thank you goes out to all the participants, volunteers and sponsors who made the 2023 City SC Open possible!
