The GU10 Premier team were finalists at Vegas Cup this weekend. The girls had an impressive run through the tournament, finishing at the top of their group with 2 wins and a tie. In group play, they beat Murrieta Surf (2-0), tied a strong Ajax United team from Cal North (2-2) and beat Forza FC from Utah (7-1). They advanced to the quarter-finals and beat Eagles (6-0) and in the semi-final match-up beat a strong Seattle United from Washington (3-1). In the finals, the girls faced CDA Slammers (the 2014 Cal South State Cup Champions). The girls put up a strong fight but the Slammers proved to be too much in the final match of the tournament.
