City SC Carlsbad have an exciting opportunity to host three squads of talented players from the Steven Gerrard Academy in the UK from March 26 until March 30, 2023.
These teams will be traveling to our area in preparation for the prestigious Dallas Cup and we have been asked if our families would be willing to provide accommodation for these young players.
It is a great opportunity for our teams to showcase our hospitality and help these young players have a memorable experience which they will treasure forever. It would also allow our boys the opportunity to create long term friendships with similar aged players from a different country and experience some of what their culture is. are so valuable in keeping their love for the game! I would like to ask for your help in hosting these teams. We will need host families to
Host families would be required to help with the following:
- Provide transportation; pick up your player(s) from meeting point on the Sunday and transport to sessions and scrimmages
- Provide meals; preparing and providing meals for your hosted player(s)
- Provide accommodation for the player(s); ideally we would assign two boys per family but it is absolutely fine to only host one

STEVEN GERRARD ACADEMY INFO
Steven Gerrard Academy combines an education and soccer program for males and females from the ages of 16-19. Players and students will leave the Academy with the qualifications that are suitable to allow them to access University courses or look for scholarships in the US. The Steven Gerrard Academy currently have 10 teams at their Liverpool site, from grass roots level up to elite players, who will participate in the Dallas Cup and other tournaments around the globe. The Steven Gerrard Academy are inclusive for all levels of ability, both practically and academically.
