Big congratulations to G03 Academy goalkeeper Jazmin Reyes who will be playing for Mexico U15 Girls National Team this week in the prestigious Dallas Cup.
It all started at the beginning of 2016 when Jazmin was playing a scrimmage in Vista and was scouted by Luis Alfonso Maprigat, a coach from Xoloitzcuitles de Tijuana. After offering Jazmin a spot on the Xolos U15 squad, Jazmin took on the massive task of playing for both Xolos and her team here at LAGSD. In April of last year, Xolo’s U15 girls were invited to scrimmage the Mexican U15 National Team and it was in this game that Jazmin impressed. After a great season with both LAGSD and Xolo’s, Jazmin was invited to participate in a Mexican National Team camp in Mexico City at the start of April and after another impressive showing in front of the selecting coaches was named the starting keeper for the upcoming Dallas Cup.
Jazmin will be playing in the Dallas International Girls Cup from April 12-16 and you can keep up with her progress or even livestream games here:
