If I had to describe myself with one word, I would choose ADVENTURER. Growing up in Saipan (Northern Mariana Islands) – Tokyo (Japan) – Londorina (Brazil) – La Coruña (Spain), soccer has always been the core of my life. I was very fortunate to be able to play in those countries as a semi professional and as a national player for Northern Mariana Islands Men’s team. With these soccer experiences, it was inevitable to become a soccer coach.

For me, soccer is the epitome of life. The game teaches so many life lessons: the need for teamwork, how to overcome setbacks, and appreciate success. But as I mentioned before, I like to be on an adventure. Adventure brings anxiety that challenges you, pushes your limits. From these challenges we gain a greater understanding of ourselves. I love to provide challenges for my players so that they may discover their hidden potential. I am here to support players with all my power to develop them as a person and as a player.

*Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means “reason for living” or “sense of purpose”. It’s a combination of the words iki, which means “life”, and gai, which means “worth” or “value”.

Soccer/Football is my ‘Ikigai’.
