Former City SC player Luca Sowinski isn’t letting his age stop him from chasing his dreams. The 18-year-old is making soccer history as the youngest player on the FC Tulsa team.
“While playing at City SC from ages 5-15, I grew tremendously as a player and a person,” commented Luca. “I went from learning the fundamentals to playing at the highest level of youth soccer as a part of the US Development Academy program. I’m forever grateful for the guidance of high-quality coaches that helped to build a crucial foundation for my development. I feel very lucky to have made such great memories while playing for my hometown club, where I fell in love with the sport.”
City SC Director of Boys, Glenn Malone, continued, “Luca has been with us right from the beginning of his soccer career. He always has been a quiet and conscientious young man but ultra committed to the game and the pursuit of his dream to become a pro player. Here at City SC, we couldn’t be happier for Luca and the fact that he is realizing his dream. We are all rooting for him and will be watching closely as he progresses through his soccer career. Well done Luca!”
