Brought to you by local business Milton’s Craft Bakers, LA Galaxy San Diego’s PLAY OF THE MONTH competition features in our monthly newsletter as well as on our club website & social media platforms. We will judge all video submissions and post the best 5 plays over on our instagram channel and whichever video gets the most likes by the specified date will be deemed the winner.
SUBMISSION RULES
- ‘Play of the Month’ submissions will be accepted from any LAGSD Program (competitive, rec, champions league) and can be a goal, save, assist, goal saving challenge or display of skill above & beyond the norm (see below video examples)
- Along with all submissions we will need the name of the player, LAGSD team name (and against whom), the date of the game and the venue
- Submissions will be accepted up until the 20th of each month, with five plays being selected by the Directors of Coaching to go up for a public vote on our Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/lagalaxysd/
- The winning Play of the Month will be announced at the end of each month, on the website, social media channels and in the newsletter

Mason slotted home the ball against LA Galaxy after a superb 10 pass build up from the back. A truly great example of team soccer and the game played the way it should be.

June’s Play of the Month was won by B07 Premier player Canaan Dalangin who cut inside to score a terrific goal with his weaker left foot to tie the the game for his team with just 15 seconds to go against Pacific SC in the Liverpool Cup. Well done Canaan!
