Carlsbad United F.C. finished their last All Star season in style and undoubtably left the recreational program ending on a high as it now transitions to ‘Carlsbad Galaxy’ (under the LA Galaxy San Diego umbrella).
The club entered a total of 18 boys and girls teams from U8-U14 in two tournaments, the So Cal All Star Tournament and Scripps Ranch All Star Tournament.
Director of Recreation, Brad Green, commented, “It was a fantastic experience for our All Star players and coaches, and they all performed brilliantly, both on the field and on the sidelines, and represented our club in the best possible way. I am extremely proud of them all. I would also like to thank all of our volunteer coaches and team parents who do a fantastic job. Without them we can’t function.”
Across the two tournaments, CUFC had 15 All Star teams make the finals with 7 teams taking home the champion’s medals (all listed below). Congratulations to all teams!
