Get ready for another amazing season with City SC Carlsbad! We are excited to announce that Fall 2025 registration is now officially open! Last season was a huge success, with hundreds of young athletes building skills, making friends, and enjoying the game we all love. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the fun this fall!

⚠️ Important Registration Update – Limited Spots Remaining
Due to the incredible response and increased registrations this season, several of our divisions are nearing capacity. Once a division has fewer than 5 spots remaining, we shift to an offline registration process to avoid overfilling the division.

If you’re trying to register for one of the divisions listed below, please complete the waitlist form linked below instead of registering online. This form will collect your contact information only (no payment required). If we are able to confirm a spot for your player, a staff member will contact you directly to complete the registration by phone.

We fully anticipate that more divisions will be added to this offline registration process soon, as most currently have fewer than 15 spots remaining. If you are considering registering, we encourage you to act quickly.

City SC Carlsbad Recreational Program

Our recreational program is for everyone! We welcome players ages 3-18, and all levels are encouraged to join. Our focus is on skill development, teamwork, and fun in a well-organized, community-driven environment.

For your convenience, we offer two location-based registration options:

NORTH CARLSBAD (fields north of Palomar Airport Rd): Zone 5, Magnolia, Chase, Hope, Calavera Hills, Jefferson, Valley, Buena Vista
SOUTH CARLSBAD (fields south of Palomar Airport Rd): Zone 5, La Costa Heights, La Costa Meadows, Alga Norte, Aviara Park, Poinsettia Park, Stagecoach Park, El Camino Creek, Mission Estancia

Age Brackets & Game Formats

U5 (Born 2021) – 4v4
U6/U7 (Born 2020/2019) – 4v4
U8 (Born 2018) – 5v5
U9/U10 (Born 2017/2016) – 7v7
U11/U12 (Born 2015/2014) – 9v9
U13/U14 (Born 2013/2012) – 11v11
U15/U16 (Born 2011/2010) – 11v11*
U17/U18/U19 (Born 2009-2008) – 11v11*
*U16 and U19 teams compete in the SoCal Super Rec League, which schedules games on Saturdays or Sundays.

Important Registration Details

⚽ All registration is online
⚽ Waitlist: After July 6, players will be placed on a waitlist and added only if space is available. Buddy/team requests are not guaranteed for waitlisted players.
⚽ Season Dates: August 11 – November 9, 2025
⚽ Buddy Requests:

One reciprocal buddy request per player (must be in the same division)
Requests must be entered at the time of registration – NO email requests accepted

Play Up Request & Cancellation Policy

If you’d like your child to play up an age group, CLICK HERE to fill out a request form (not all requests will be approved)
Refunds will only be given if:
- A player suffers an injury before the first game (doctor’s note required)
- We are unable to place a player due to a lack of available teams
