Carlsbad United F.C. have just secured 100% full scholarships from San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas for Esteban Reyes (pictured above), Jesus (Chuy) Melendrez, and Cristian Rodriguez. San Jacinto finished 3rd in the National J.C. Championships.
The scholarship includes all tuition, books, apartment and a cafeteria full-meal plan at the school. They will report August 1st.
We have been talking to the top J.C’s for the last few weeks, before deciding on San Jacinto. Other Carlsbad Elite BU18 players will be committing in the next couple of weeks.
Well done all involved, just more proof that our College placement program is providing more life changing opportunities for our players!
