The CUFC GU19 Recreational team capped off their winning season by clinching the Commissioners Cup this weekend against a determined Scripps Ranch.
The girls played well all weekend and never quit even though they had a tough game against their nemesis, the Sharks. This accomplishment further highlights that clinching the Cal South Rec championship (5 points clear of all other teams, despite having two bye weekends while all other teams only had 1) is even more
remarkable.
Coach Tony commented, “Congrats to all the girls, and to Sam, Kari, Eva, Amy, Bri, and Kendall who now leave us to go on to college. Thank you so much for all the wonderful years of soccer, and for letting me be a part of your lives.”
