On March 24, 2019, LA Galaxy San Diego Girls’ Academy coaching staff celebrated their senior class of 2019 at Army and Navy Academy. The Development Academy is the highest level of play for girl’s soccer. Due to the Academy rules players are not allowed to play high school soccer. Senior night is always a special night for every player and their family as it is a night to celebrate their on the field accomplishments, commitment and hard work to get them to where they are today. Not wanting our players and families to miss out on this special event the players were honored before the DA game against LA Premier FC.

“This is our second year in the Development Academy and with all new things we continue to learn and evolve our program. said Drummond Girls College Liaison. “We strive to create the most professional environment in San Diego that pushes players to strive for more. It is important to us that our pathway leads to the collegiate level and as a staff we prepare them for that next level. The demands and expectations these girls are to uphold are truly preparing them for the collegiate level. Training four days a week and more than competitive competition every weekend is something they will see in college.”
