City SC Girls Academy Delivers Historic Performance at the 2026 GA National Finals

The 2026 Girls Academy National Finals will be remembered as one of the most successful events in City SC history, as the club captured two GA National Championships, a National Runner-Up finish, and a National Semifinal appearance against the nation’s top competition.
City SC sent four teams deep into the national postseason, with each group showcasing the club’s commitment to player development, competitive excellence and a team-first culture.
The 2013 GA White team claimed the GA National Championship, capping off an outstanding season with a championship performance in Richmond. The 2012 GA White team also lifted the national trophy, completing an incredible campaign that included a Southwest Conference Championship, an undefeated league season and the GA National Championship.
The 2010 GA White team advanced to the National Final, finishing as GA National Runner-Up after another remarkable year that included a fourth consecutive Southwest Conference Championship and a GA Champions Cup title. Earlier in the postseason, the 2007/08 GA White team earned a place among the nation’s top four, finishing as GA National Semifinalists.

In total, City SC finished the National Finals with; two GA National Championships, one GA National Runner-Up and one GA National Semifinalist.
While the results speak for themselves, the week represented much more than wins and trophies. Across every match, City SC players competed with resilience, humility and togetherness. All teams represented the club with professionalism and pride. The performances reflected the countless hours invested by players, coaches and families throughout the season and reinforced the culture that continues to drive the Girls Academy forward.
“This week was a reflection of who we are as a club,” said Girls Academy Director Jeff Hughes. “We’re incredibly proud of our players!. Winning two national championships is an amazing accomplishment, but just as important was the way our teams competed, supported one another and represented City SC. These are memories that will last a lifetime.”
The success at the National Finals adds another milestone to the continued growth of the City SC Girls Academy, as the program remains committed to developing elite players, competing for championships and preparing athletes for success at the collegiate and professional levels.
