Carlsbad United is a nonprofit soccer organization for the children of Carlsbad and North San Diego County. We believe that children should have a chance to play the exciting game of soccer, no matter their age, skill level, or financial standing. Carlsbad United FC is committed to providing each of its players the best possible soccer experience both on the field and off the field. Through this fundraising golf event, Carlsbad United FC hopes to raise money for player financial aid, field maintenance, field usage, equipment, and many other aspects that go into running a successful club.
Monday June 15th, 2015, saw Carlsbad United F.C. host its 2nd annual Golf Invitational, a fundraising event with all funds raised going towards scholarships and club maintenance.
The event was held at El Camino Country Club with 107 golfers in attendance. It was a fantastic day and the club managed to raise just over $18K.
