Now a yearly fundraising effort, again, this Movember, 18 of our LA Galaxy San Diegoย male coaches attempted to grow, some successfully, some not, ridiculous looking handlebar moustaches in return for sponsorship/donations towards men’s health. The coaches certainly did our club proud raising a massive $7,009 – over ten times what the team raised last Movember.
Team captain Patrick Trolan commented, “The effort from the boys was monumental. The last couple of years it seemed we just went through the motions with the fundraiser but this year we really embraced it. Several coaches raised over $1000 each and some of the marketing ideas behind their mini campaigns were very funny and creative. It was a great team effort and I think we can make it even bigger and better next year! MASSIVE THANK YOU to all who donated!”
