For the past 15 years Skye O’Grady has been a constant presence and unwavering supporter of our club.  With both of her girls playing their entire careers here starting in the recreational program and progressing through the competitive program until graduating high school, Skye has always been there to lend a hand to her teams.  Skye quickly graduated from volunteering at the team level to lending her professional experience at the board level, first as our club treasurer and then as our club president since 2015.  She’s lead us through some of the biggest changes and challenges our club has seen, and leaves a lasting legacy at City SC as she passes the baton to the highly qualified, Jim Barnhill.

Much like Skye, Jim’s daughters all got their start in the recreational program, where Jim was always heavily involved as a coach, Division Coordinator, and eventually elected to serve on the board of directors as our VP of Rec, a role that he has filled for the past five years.  As Jim’s daughters also graduated to the competitive program, he’s continued to support his own teams in various volunteer capacities in addition to sharing his professional expertise as a member of the board.  Jim brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience with the inner workings of both the competitive and recreational programs and the player and parent experience at both levels.
As we transition from one exceptional president to another, we can’t say enough about how grateful we are to have had such a highly qualified and supportive board of directors over the years. Skye, we thank you for everything you have done to get us where we are today, for paving the way for more great things to come, and for leaving us in such exceptional hands!
