Congrats to our City SC Men’s USL 2 team, who wrapped up their season this past weekend with a big 3-0 win away at Redlands FC!
The team finished their inaugural season just two points short of the playoffs with a record of 7-4-1 in one of the league’s toughest conferences. The team consisted of players from 20 top NCAA programs, club alumni, and gave opportunities to our current academy players. A massive thanks to all of the players, coaches, and staff who made this season possible!
“I have mixed emotions about our first season,” said City SC USL 2 Head Coach, Paul Ritchie. “Our biggest goal was to create an enjoyable and competitive environment for all players, which I believe we achieved with success. We all were disappointed that we narrowly missed the playoffs, but delighted with the foundations that we have laid. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of the group.”
The club is excited to see what’s next for this group as we look to build towards next year. Thanks again to all our City SC family, fans, and local vendors who came out to the games and showed support across all home matches. Our USL 2 Men’s team will return next summer, we look forward to having your support!
